Why I'm writing here

latest1 min

Why this site exists, and what I plan to write about.

Between 2008 and 2010 I had a blog, and I enjoyed writing it. Then I moved to other platforms: Tumblr first, then LinkedIn, X and dev.to. Somewhere along the way I lost the habit of writing. I don’t even know why; I guess that’s how life goes.

Today I realise I no longer feel at home in that ecosystem. Every platform has its own algorithm, and every post competes to be picked for someone else’s feed. The algorithm favours people who keep to one topic, and I’m a generalist, curious about many things and an expert in none. So this is my way back: a place where I can write about whatever holds my curiosity, with all the room it needs. And this time the room is mine: I’m not renting it from someone else.

Most of my curiosity these days goes to agentic coding. At CoNDENSE.tech, agents write, test and review code on every project, while engineers own the architecture and the decisions. I’m still working out what that changes, and I’d rather work it out in public.

Here I’ll write about code, architecture and infrastructure, about agents, AI and GenAI and, why not, now and then about sourdough too.
